Directions to Ocean Dawn Suites

Ocean Dawn Suites is located Oceanside at mile marker 82.9 in Islamorada, Florida, halfway down the chain of islands that make up the Florida Keys. We are just 90 minutes by car from the Miami International Airport.

Ocean Dawn Suites is also accessible by private aircraft via Tamiami Airport, southwest of Miami, or Marathon Airport, 30 miles south on the Overseas Highway.

From Miami International Airport (MIA)

1. Take LeJeune Road south to 836 West.
2. Take the Florida Turnpike south toward Key West.
3. The Turnpike ends at US 1 in Florida City.
4. Follow U.S. 1 south about 22 miles to Key Largo.
5. You are now in the Florida Keys.
6. Follow the Overseas Highway South to mile marker 82.9
7. Ocean Dawn is a secluded hideaway not visible from the Overseas Highway. Once in the Village of Islamorada turn left at the Islamorada Post Office
8. Turn left again on the “ Old Highway” and Turn into first
   driveway on right.

From Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

1. Exit the airport and follow the signs for 595 West.
2. Take 595 to the Florida Turnpike and follow the signs for the Florida Keys.
3. The Turnpike ends at US 1 in Florida City.
4. Follow U.S. 1 South into the Florida Keys.
5. Follow the Overseas Highway South to mile marker 82.9
6. Ocean Dawn is a secluded hideaway not visible from the Overseas Highway. Once in the Village of Islamorada turn left at the Islamorada Post Office.
7. Turn left again on the “ Old Highway” and Turn into first driveway on right.

From the north

1. Take the Florida Turnpike south to just below Ft. Lauderdale, where Exit 4 takes you onto the southern portion of the Turnpike.
2. The Turnpike ends at US 1 in Florida City.
3. Follow U.S. 1 South into the Florida Keys.
4. Follow the Overseas Highway South to mile marker 82.9
5. Ocean Dawn is a secluded hideaway not visible from the Overseas Highway. Once in the Village of Islamorada turn left at the Islamorada Post Office.
6. Turn left again on the “ Old Highway” and Turn into first driveway on right.

From Florida’s west coast

1. Take I-75 (Alligator Alley) east to the Miami exit and south to the Turnpike Extension.
2. The Turnpike ends at US 1 in Florida City.
3. Follow U.S. 1 south into the Florida Keys
4. Follow the Overseas Highway South to mile marker 82.9
5. Ocean Dawn is a secluded hideaway not visible from the Overseas Highway. Once in the Village of Islamorada turn left at the Islamorada Post Office.
6. Turn left again on the “ Old Highway” and Turn into first driveway on right.

From the Marathon Airport (MTH)

Head north on the Overseas Highway approximately 31 miles to mile marker 82.9. Ocean Dawn is a secluded hideaway not visible from the Overseas Highway. Turn right at the Islamorada Post Office and left onto the “ Old Highway.” Turn into first driveway on right. We are approximately 35 minutes from the Marathon Airport.
